  • 184 @ Wheels !

After SKC's little fuelling problems over the weekend (all sorted now)
Thanx to RSBOREHAM for the use of his spare fuel pump @ The Pod

I have now done 3/400 miles running it in - lol and today I had the car rolling roaded @ Hi-Tech in Cradley Heath West Mids

    Engine was revved to 8000rpm

Produced 184 bhp @ 7095 rpm at the wheels

Engine sounded sweet and no nasty sounds at all

A smooth torque curve starting at 1750rpm maxing out at 145 llb/ft torque @ 5500 rpm holding till 6800rpm then dropping off

Drives spot on now and ready for run to Brook Meadow on Saturday

          Certainly have

Pump must have been crap from new as when initially set-up Mick @ Hi-Tech said I didnt need a pressure regulator as it was running at about 4psi

With new pump fitted he has advised now that fuel pressure is a bit too high at apprx 5-6 psi and best to regulate it to 3.5-4.5 max
