The Works Team - What a Great Success !

Many thanx to ALL who turned up and took part in The Works Team "Club" stand @ Classic Ford @ Santa Pod

Apprx 24 cars made an excellent show stand and I was proud and privelidged the Red Popster was on our stand

Am sure RSBOREHAM will have great pleasure in recalling the 2 quotes of the day Re:The Popster - lol lol lol

I must say we ended up with an excellent pitch in close proximity to the traders/autojumble area, loads of room and once the sun kicked in it was an awesome day

Also many BB users came over and it was quite funny when they talk about someone (eh Kel) and that person is standing right next to em and they dont realise it - lol lol lol

On a personal note I must thank RSBOREHAM who kindly lent me his fuel pump after I fried mine 6 mile from home and spent most of the trip to the Pod on the back of a recovery truck (not mine ! - lol)

Managed to get back home but still not 100%

I think I may have a split fuel feed plastic pipe and it is drawing in air
Will check on ramp tomorrow

Today was how a "club" stand should be

Camping Beer and BBq on the night before then a great easy atmosphere showing off our pride and joy

Cant wait to do it again

When is the next event ?

Great weekend ,sun eventually arrived ,hard work pushing a certain cossy non-powered mk2 to its stand.

The Tuscan car ,Superb well done Ian even better in the light.

Top day out guys, and a great turn out of cars.

Thanks to Mr H for the heater, and Lee for the use of the trolley jack. Although the same flipping anti-tramp bolt managed to work loose and disappear altogether by the time I got home , will have to do some investigating into that this week?!
