    after speaking to felow friends at cumbria and escort nutters like me i was thinking of buying a mk 2 mexico to restore but i was told it would only be valued at 2 to 3 grand by the rsoc most of the people i spoke to said this is due to a prick called john the gimp i dont want to upset anyone but surely he cant hold his position any longer if he keeps up setting people on this magnitued should i buy an rs 2000 instead

    As far as I can see there is no old skool in the RSOC & you have arrived at the portal for all things RWD Escort.

      Sorry ... PMSL !!!

      The RSOC are NOT the be all and end all of the RS scene.

      I see the value of the mexico should lag behind by £500... JOKE !!!

      my view true feeling ....

      Mexcio's & RS2000's should be vauled the same, the choice is of the buyer to a flatty or a coned car.

          Only other consideration is Standard or Modified

          Personal preference will be a major factor when looking at a modified Mex or 2K

          Mex IT's Mex is a good example

          Highly modified the car is £12k

          Back to standard with all the expensive go faster bits removed £12k

          So buy car for £12k modified - remove £8k of go faster bits
          Fit £2k worth of standard bits

          A quick £6k profit without even trying

          It certainly aint no Lagging Behind Mex !!
