Here is my thread

If you are able to join in the thread on The RSOC then I ask you do and who knows we may not be able to beat the system - so lets use it !

Some on here will have noticed I have been making a nuisance of myself with reference to the performance of the MKII RS Mexico and RS2000 Registrar.

This thread is NOT to be a discussion on what I and others may or may not feel towards John Hughes.

What I would like to do is have this proposal be brought into action at the Nov 07 AGM.

ALL registrars are up for re-election so this proposal would fit in nicely at that time.

I would like to propose the following :-

The RSOC has 3 registrars to cover the MKII RS Escort models

1 x RS Mexico
1 x RS1800
1 X RS2000

The cost to the club would be minimal but the perceived benefits to owners/members would be in my opinion priceless

Also 3 like minded MKII registrars could work in co-operation with each other and promote the models at various Non-RSOC venues as well as at regional shows etc

I understand the current situation will most likely stand until Nov agm but can each model then be "contended" for when registrar voting takes place in Nov 07 ?

Cause the MKI boyz seem happy with what they have

I dont know of "many" happy MKII owners though

MKI owners may well want a registrar for each model - I say go for it

I guess if you split it further you could create even more problems. Simple answer would be to have one registrar for all mk2s and make sure he's a good un!

DR does a fine job as proved in the current rallye news! well done that man.
As for the rs2/mex reg something needs to be done!

We all have our views and ideas what the answer is im unsure, maybe 3 regs is the answer????? Dave have you any brothers? or how about the kids they would prob do as good a job!!
