Set me straight.

I want a Mex or 2000 but dont know what to be looking out for shell wise chassis number wise that type of thing. I have a good mechanical background and have been in the trade for the last 17 years so i will know a shed when i see it. I just dont want to get my Eyes taken out by what could possibly be a replica. I havent seen a car yet but am constantly on the look out. Any info woud be great.
