The form is in rallye news. Was all competed and posted off to the RSOC Secretary as required.
I know it was recieved as JH had the strop with me because of it.
if they dont count postal vote whats the point of the form in RN.
Statement made to someone yesterday on the committee.

I phoned the chairman and asked about proxy votes from those who couldn't attend (all at the Donington spares day) and was told to vote you had to be there in person.
I told the chairman I wanted to vote for Dave, but as I wasn't going to be there how could I ??
I've let my membership lapse now.
I see no reason to be a member if the club isn't going to be run for the benefit of the members.
I own 7 RS cars at the last count, so I'm pretty commited to the Marque, I don't see this mirrored by the club anymore.Comment

Voting for this was done on the saturday not the sunday so the spares day would not make any difference.
3 representives from each local group voted for the registra's this time as far as i can remember...

slightly different angle, at the weekend, i tried several times to talk to him, he just shunned me, too busy talking to a fellow concours man, finally, i made him almost talk to me, he did for a mo with reluctance, i think his attitude leaves a little to be desired to say the least. Approachable ??, i dont think so. I know concours isn,t everyones cup of tea, i was just wanting some advice and guidance, as this will be the first time for me. I DO think its all a big con, i asked the concourse judge who was judging RR,s, Hickeys and Gerards car some questions, he seemed ok, he was quite pleased to tell me he,d got a Escort Cosworth !!!. Why am i worrying about German or English indicator lenses ???. I did ask his meaning of the word concours, i had been told, as per factory, however no better, the judges reply at the weekend was, and i qoute "better than factory"
