  • Well it took nearly 5 years ...................

But I managed to overtake Mex IT

Having developed SKC along the lines of highly modified road car
Similar to Mex IT's (now lagging behind) MKII Mexico

I have finally had a chance to stretch SKC's legs and with Hally even further behind we had a drag race from a standing start

Mex IT missed 3rd gear and I missed the change into 4th but we both got em wound right up and off we went

At 7000rpm and still rising I went past him

Gaz W seemed suitably impressed as well

Cant wait to get it on a track and see what it is like on proper tarmac now !!

OOPPS I'm still running engine in as well - lol lol lol

Oh dear, sounds like there may be a healthy discount on the 'slower' car then? Better get my mate to value it for me...

Sounds like driver/codriver competitive behaviour to me! Me and hally weren't to far behind either,he passed me as i hung on to third then i hung on to his tail as i got it into fourth. Was well impressed as engine just out of box!Even more when i got home to find motorbike carbs were only opening just over half way!Not driven like that since last track day!Lets hope theres no unwanted plod letters through the post! Best part of day was when me,mex it custom and hally and one other? Hit a mini round about,i was at the rear we all took it sideways one at a time, while the gobsmacked onlookers watched on.Some stupid old **** thought it would be good idea to break the roundabout rules and i nearly had a micra attached to my rear quarter!lol

The noise off those cars could be heard for a few miles. A good noise btw.

Daves car is ****in awesome and was nice to be with someone who is not scared of driving there car to the death .

I dont think i would have enjoyed myself as much even if i was in my own car

Glad i was in with Hally (dad) your always garunteed to go flat out every were. Dont think some people on the tour were impressed when we passed them on some of the tighter sections of the pass's never mind it was awesome fun.

well there goes the sales pitch , but the story must be told yes he did pass me when i missed a gear but 3or 4 miles later we hit a duel carriageway and i gave it what it had and there was plenty of passing room and guess who was still in front and when i got home i found a plug lead off lol lol lol lol

so anymore intrested parties please keep your eyes on the bay as she will be on soon as needs must
