did everyone,s car run? Mine did,nt miss a BEAT, the whole day, considering it,s only done 200 miles in the last 2 years, well chuffed!!!!
Very pleased indeed. I did however have to top up with a fait bit of oil on the way back though. Seems the new rocker cover is not sealed well and has a leak. Nowt major.
windscreen wiper blade fell off on the tour, and today a stud in my inlet manifold miraculously managed to shake loose, and let air leak into the gap between carb and manifold, causing no1 cyl to run crap, soon fixed though.
first time out in 6 years did 5 miles for a mot
then it was the tour best 100 mile ever driven in the bd
needed a push back at the Hotel loose battery cable
All good apart from breaking down in middle of packed Bowness with points failiur  got going again & did mean we got to follow Mk2grp4 back in the Daily Express rep and just watched the entertainment at every bend & junction
Engine never missed a beat, exhaust started blowing at the end of the tour and got noiser on the way back South ,still easy fix.
That Bob X can shift ,then he tells me hes running it in
616 miles incident free motoring coupled with good mpg. Never missed a bear,Nuff said .
Even the microwave door in the roof didn't leak in those light showers we had through friday & saturday night .
