Firstly, why? Most of you are already members of other clubs and imo all you get from clubs is people wanting their own way, falling out, power struggles etc. and that's something you don't have to worry about now.

Secondly, if you do want to be a 'proper' club so badly, why on earth be affiliated to another club? All this would mean would that you would be another string to their bow and probably have certain restraints put on you. If you are going to do it, just do it and become affiliated to the MSA - that's all you need!

Whatever you all decide, good luck with it but I truly feel you will spoil what you now have. I'd love to know what you would actually gain by doing it tbh.

A few things that would need considering, I've just helped the 1400 rally club get MSA affiliated.


President - don't really need one

Chairman - as you must have committee meetings monthly

Vice Chairman - as a stand in if chairman not available

Treasurer - to sort finances if you are talking subscription

Secretary - to take minutes of meetings and deal with all communications

Child protection officer - as you will be attending shows were children will be. Although they may not be members of the club.

You then need to sort out club rules and regulations, articles of association etc.

You will need a minimum of 25 payed up members to be affiliated to the MSA also.

Dave if you do decide this is what you want to do if its any help to get things off the ground I'd be willing to meet up with you and help in any way possible.

As for the BB I started and ran the bulletin board originally for The MKII club

I then began receiving "issues" from paying club members that didnt get sorted that were beyond my control

Because of this I parted company with the club on the web side of things and Banishit took over with the website

Now the club has no web presence as far as I know
