  • Honest opinions please folks ??

If you had the option to build up an expetional Mk2 car with all the right bits and running a Coworth Turbo Engine alonst with more shiney ally bits than you coul dshake a stick at.

What would you use or prefer to end up having a nice Cosworth Mk2 Escort version of???

RS2000 - with a nice reg number and history.
Mexico - because they are more rare.
1600 Sport - because it would be different.

Before you ask, yes its my car. I am just torn as to which route to go for when compete as I have a big choice of cars. I really wanted to get along to the RSOC shows with my local group and so opted Mex route over the three RS2's I own. But with the raretly of all Mk2's now I wonder if would look different and be worth having 1600 Sport stickers made up but saying 2000 instead?

    Mmm, I wonder??

Interior is pure stripped out buckets and cage by the way. So no issues with that.

Mex is still my fave, but the Sport side is pulling me slightly?

I have one RS2 reg that woul dbe interesting... YB0 930T... YB Turbo anyone? Or Even Yobbo?

flat front one of your RS2's, seeing as you have 3 of them, save the mex, due to rarity, fit a screemer X-FLOW in the sport
