    That is just so unbelievably bad. I even felt my stomach churning for you m8.

    Start putting the prices of all the Ex-pressed Steel panels you'd need together. Add on the price for cutting out old panels, welding work and, of course, the prep work on the new panels.

    Even if that's not the route you'll go down, it should give you at least an impressive and objective £ figure when you start talking to the bloke about what compensation is going to be required.

      i have just spoke to him he is now finding out if his insurance will cover what has gone on. he will let me know later today
      but if it goes through his insurance it will have all new genuine ford panels
      well apart from the roof

      will let you know how i get on later

          Shit news, but top tip Paul get as many photos as possible and get them to put it in writing that they have admiited the damage, do this as i once made a mistake not doin that! and paid the price!!

              i feel now this is a warning to others getting cars sandblasted....im thinking of getting my van done but only from about 2-3" above the sills down & underside & engine bay.....i know am having second thoughts???? have you got any pics of the car yet then? im sure your very disappionted beyond words & we all feel for ya buddy.... ....but if the car will need all ford panels its gonna cost a shit load of money as we all know new parts are very hard to come by....keep us all posted
