    fitted a pair of k&n,s last night, what a nightmare, must be an easier way!

    hally i had the same hassles with mine, are yours the new type with counter sunk screws thro end plates rather than the old type with a nut on stud sticking thro ..... no bloody room tween inner wing and end plt to get screw driver in, had to "make" a bent 90 degree driver to fit them . carry it round in the boot just incase they have to come off when out and about.

        hey what a struggle! they must be old type as had the screw heads sticking out on the end plates!

          Easiest way to fit them properly is to take the carbs and manifold completely off and fit them properly hassle but saves on swearing and cut hands....
