You,r right mate it did come from Edinburgh, and the dealers it states on the number plate is FORD FIRST.

hi mate i live in edinburgh and my mate has worked in two ford dealers

The dealers could be Alexanders the official RS dealer until they closed about 7 years ago or Laidlaws who were made RS dealers around 1991.

Theres also Peoples but never RS dealers as far as im aware.

never heard of Ford first in edinburgh but might have went under the guise of laidlaws also know as quicks at one point.

I know the car did not come from an official Rallye Sport dealer, I believe the original owner told me he bought it new from a Ford dealer that got it in from another Rallye Sport dealer in the area, possibly a canceled order I think. My memory isn't what it used to be I think
