a company about having some parts remade
the one i asked about was a centre console.

i got a quote off him to make the tool and a first run of 25 this will cost £1500
and then £60 per item after.

how much do you think they will sell for ...?...£100.....?

the will be a 100% copy of the origanal in every way
they will come in black and then you paint it brown if you want a brown one.

wat do you think....???????

If they can make it the same as the original I think you are onto a winner. Rang a fellow the other week and he had one that he wanted 150 sterling and guess what somebody bought it.

100 sterling would be a fair and good price for a new one.

Guess I'll stop my investigations into remaking these then. I was looking into recreating every plastic part for a mk2 RS with Automotive Unlimited.

the markings will be 100%
as they do it by a silicone mould

they cannot make one as it cost to much to make the tooling for it

Obviously the cheaper the better but I need a centre console as my RS doesn't have one, the European cars didn't have them fitted from the factory (well at least I've not seen one yet fitted!)
