Formula Ford Day.

Well those who will remember Graham John,s exploits in the F1 car will remember my mention of a not so illustrious day to come. Well its tomorrow, I,m off to the home of British motorsport, Silverstone. It helps being half an hour down the road, for my Formula Ford morning. Cant wait. It,ll be sunny says the weatherman so a tinted visor will be in order. Not sure whether i,ll still fit into my karting overalls but their coming with me, and a rather special helmet ??. Those F1 fans will recognize it straight away. Bring it on !!! hope to post some pics tomorrow

Cheers Vin, Dave, eh Vin, your not wrong, Jen,s taking the video and camera, hope to get some good sideways action, fifteen years of two-stroke karting should come in useful, never driven a single seater. I think you use about half the grand prix circuit, under bridge, round the complex, pit straight, copse, then before you enter the becketts bends you turn right, cutting the track in half, do a right again and end up coming under bridge again, not as if i know the track, cant wait.

Well guys, it was absolutely fan.......... disappointing completed drivers briefing and everything, then it was cancelled because of the fog . The good news is, its rebooked for next Saturday so the kids can come and watch as well.
