Just a thought , would there be any interest in a tour of the M-SPORT facility at Dovenby Hall in Cumbria.
The tours are run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00pm with a maximum group of 15 people, I am not sure if they can run 2 groups at the same time although I have seen this done in the past. Cost is quoted at roughly £15 per head which includes :
Tour of workshop / Hall / Museum & Service vehicles*
Souvenir information pack for each visitor
Coffee/biscuits upon arrival
I realise it may be difficult for some to get away midweek and could entail a stop over for some from further afield but maybe could combine this with a curry night or something.
Anyway just a thought, might be something to do the Thursday night before the Lakes Tour weekend as I would think most are off Friday anyway ; if that date was available.
I don't mind organising this.
