My nickname used to be Skins (obvious to those who know my surname ) however about 20 years ago the then Landlord of the local Pub who was a bit deaf used to always call me Skids ,a bit like the Trigger thing with calling Rodney "Dave" so people started calling me Skids,along with the Rallying connection it seemed quite appropriate.
