  • What trailer size to fit an Escort ???

As it says on the tin, what is a minimum size trailer to happily carry a Mk2 Escort about with? (And Mk1 on occasion)

Also would be enough for just a single axle or would it need to be twin?

    How about brakes and suspension?

No idea myself so all input gratefully recieved.

i have got a twin brian james clubman trailer...it's very light and never moves a inch on the motorway
i can fit both mk1 and mk2 on it's just about right for the escorts
you can get a new base trailer from BJ for about £1100
mine cost £2k as i had the extras put on it
like the tyre rack and tool box
also a winch a spear wheel and a data tag and hitch lock and straps
it's also about the best trailer for the money...

    hope this helps

Agree with Paul. has to be a Brian James. Superb to tow and no movement that you can feel.

Right, once I get the walls at the side of my house knocked down and a big gate made I will look atgetting one of them.

I already have the parking area all blocked paved but cant find a builder??

          Cheers for the tips!

and for an extra 10 euros you could have a little lie down and play on the eastern european version of a bouncy castle! A little bit stiff in places but the lumps and bumps more than made up for that...
