I have been looking into this for some time and have watched many programs ,some scientists beleive that this occurs every 3 to 4 hundred years, a natural phenomenon and that many goverements:winka: have now jumped on the bandwagon to rip us off once again by charging us extra taxes for instance on air fares etc etc. These taxes will certainly not ease the burden of global warming if indeed it is caused mankind. I have not seen this particular programme but will probably confirm some of what ive said.

Watched some of it..was quite impressive...

One of the basic ideas was that the oceans are an enormous store of heat..which can take 4 or 500 hundred years to give up..and that that is partly what we are seeing now.

went on an enviromental awareness course last week with work which featured the al gore best selling dvd.
cant make my mind up what is the truth and what is commercial activities,
i dont suppose we will ever know until something drastic happens ??????

Couldn't agree more.Been saying this for a few years now.There was a mini ice age a few hundred years ago the earth now warming up in its natural cycle. Like congestion charge,funny how its come about since smoking bans in public therefore reducing revenue.Tell you what blair on monday well all leave our cars at home.Lets watch the country grind to a halt! Back to original topic,nasa said there was no evidence of human made global warming not long ago,but that could be because of yank fuel use! Its all about scareing the public into paying more tax.And where does it go.Fcuked if i know!
