  • Got it at last

After all the problems i have had with, some one taking a credit card out in my name, etc. I finally today picked up MY Rs2000 Base model 1979. It was David Kings car, for those of you that know it.

Very happy with it(understatement). A few things to do like, fix heater, rev counter and brake judder etc.

It is great condition and hopefuly will be on the tour.

I was very lucky to find a car so close. Was only in Frimley and i am in farnborough Hants only a few miles away.

Am very new to this scene, so will be after lots of advice from everyone.
Also hope to get to plenty of shows.

    Cheers Si

Yeah sounds good to me Marky4.
driving past you a lot at the mo then, as until get my garage sorted i am keeping GTT in friends garage in Bordon. Long way to go every time i want to go play but is worth it. D o you know any one in the area that will tune the carbs properly?

The heater all of a sudden started blowing today, but still not warm, will change thermostat tomorrow. Managed to get rev counter working, found the missing green wire taped up in the wiring loom (lots of unraveling involved).

                          Cheers si
