Hello again,
Recently on another thread i asked if anyone had a seat adjusting wheel for my seat.
Can't remember who it was but they kindly posted back to say you can get them brand new from Ford and even supplied the part no, (Thanks to them). Well i contacted my local Jenning's Ford, and asked the kid if they had or could get me a MK2 Escort adjusting wheel for my seat. He jumped straight to conclusion we don't do parts for them to old. I said wait on if i gave you the part no would you have look for me, and in honesty he was helpful enough to have a look, at first he couldn't find anything, then i think he said i'll look on the main Ford screen, he come back and said, yes their in stock, i said what about the middle part, again number supplied, he said yes but you have to buy five, didn't need it anyway.
My question is if i did not have the Part no for the part and the guy's statement "we don't do them too old" attitude i may have a knacked seat forever!
What other MK2 parts is out their in Ford land to purchase, but if you don't have part no's your ****ed, it would be great to know as i need other stuff like Bonnet release cable ETC, how would we ind out the information about this!
Ps i got a brand new seat adjuster anyway, thanks to that person for supplying me the part no!
