best steering wheel

whats peoples opinions on steering wheels & which one would you recommend to fit a mk1 van?????
i was thinking of a deep dish springalex wheel but some peeps have kinda turned me of getting one......
the one i have on the van at present is crap as i hit my knuckles of the dash

I always came back to the standard RS steering wheel, both for rallying and hillclimbs/sprints. Nothing else ever felt as if it wasn't going to fail at an inappropriate moment.
Good company too - have look at what wheel Bjorn Waldegard used (eg. in the MK2 Escort Story video, iced lake sequence set to music).
