The guy who I train with works in mental health. He is a 4th Dan black belt and a self defence instructor. He has often said the two most difficult and dangerous types of people to deal with are Women & Old People.

When they loose it you just don’t know what they are capable of.

I also remember when my brother used to work the doors. He said he women after a drink and god knows what were like wild animals.

I’m not justifying beating up women at all but some off them are lunatics.

I have seen a lot of arrests especialy drunk people. in my line of work, When aggressive and resisting arrest. They are very difficult, some times a lot more force is required than if they were sober. As the U tube says police man is probably hitting arm to try and get her to let them put cuffs on. From that angle it is never going to look good on camera.
I hope that the police authority responsible has the balls to back up its officers involved, and not shy away.

Si, I agree and hope that the authority will back its officers. From what I have seen so far, it looks promising so good on them. The fact is, she has been thrown out of the club, caused damage to a vehicle, was apparently foaming at the mouth and 'can't remember the incident'.

If she was punched as the Officer says' as hard as possible' she would have her face stoved in. BUT the media nicely omit the finer detail. Hitting to the arm is a recognised technique as the foream has pressure points which even work on drunken or drugged up people. The media choose to focus on the video and not mention the other stuff. They (the media) are to blame as well as the woman for sensationalising the incident. As they say.......'why let the truth get in the way of a good story', and lets not forget, she pleaded guilty in court. For those still in two minds about it, please go to your local Town at 2-4am on a weekend.

About 20 years ago an innocent man got shot several times because he happened to be driving the wrong car at the wrong time and happened to look similar to somebody they were after.

I agree...it doesn't look good (on video).

Hence the need for the facts in this case to speak for themselves, not something 20 yrs ago. I agree mistakes do happen though.....thats the nature of the job. It will never be perfect.

Since 911 British coppers have gone American. Which in my book is slightly mental and OTT. There are 3 men on top, one standing by and another appears at the end of the scene.
At the time of the punching if anyone can explain how this woman posed any sort of threat to the police, herself or the community at large l would really like to know. If it was my sister I would be Fkn livid.

While I'm ranting I'll have a go at the armed police. Have they actually managed to shoot any criminals yet. I can only think of a backpacker in a train station and some bloke lying in his bed.

Police should uphold the law but should neither be, or believe to be, above it.

it seems a bit mad alright but 3 guys on 1 woman, be it wether she is drunk or high, no need for it....there is one law for the cops, politicans etc & 1 law for everyone else.....the copper will walk away with no harm done to his carerr.....they are a law to them selves.....
