Just got back in (dont you just love Air con - Cruise Control - Auto Box with Sport Mode and Heated Seats)

What an absolute baptism by fire

Had never used pace notes before

Never been between the trees before

We started off 3rd car form last so we got to see all the carnage in each stage.

All I can say it is a bit un-nerving seeing so many cars in ditches - on their roof - or simply bedded into the nearest tree

Had to tell Ricky to ignore the local and visiting car clubs "static" display stands

Worst one I saw was a car that had fell down a 15 foot ditch and was rolled onto its roof - coming round bend all we could see was the 4 wheels pointing to the sky

No cross words were exchanged in the car and we got through it all with no major problems throughout

A massive big-up stylee to Cossie Si and Louie in the Chase car
and Wilf and 76Mex (Lee mitchell) who manned the service area

I am a bit tired now so off to bed
