Weird wording (apart from the typo). Surely the problem has arisen by having a DATE rather than an AGE. Petition just wants a DATE change, so the problem will continually re-appear.
Ahhhh. Scrub the above, I've just read it applies to British cars. As none will be produced in the future, one single date change should cover it
Interestingly, Germany has a rolling date (age = 30 years). It is coupled, however, with more than that. Car has to be really original, accesories have to be period, it must be properly restored or original (quote: no boiler plate repairs) and also the model and condition have to be deemed to serve the aim of preserving cultural heritage.
