teehee, i had a rig in my mk1 golf when i was 17. i was running 'boots', all before mobiles were a common sight. i thought they were a bit 10-100

This has started a debate in my house, mum n dad are now talking 2each other in cb lingo like in that film Smokey & the Bandit! Did you have a Handle Lee?

yes i had a handle, it was................ live wire ( dont laugh )

trickster, i had two aerials, one was a base loaded jobbie with a 5' whip, but my piece de resistance was my 6' solid with a 3' whip, 9' in total, which i should have only ever put on when 'square wheeled' but i drove with it occasionaly fitted, i hit bridges and all sorts. bent the roof gutter a bit with the weight if i recall

Hey Live wire! ****in hell 9ft on the car! Dad used a k40 and a dv27 they were fm (illegal 1's ), Talking of aerials my dad has a 12ft Silver-rod homebase aerial on his garden shed connected to a portable tv......for the best reception ever!!!.........Is that a Roger, Kick it back!?

A bloke up the road from us when i was a kid use to have a silver rod how i hated him the flash git and when he keyed up it use to mess up peoples tv pictures
