also lots of local treasure hunts around the New forest,

i reckon it was some of the "events" the bournemouth group did that led to the 40mph limit that is now all over the new forest

used to have some great nights around the lanes

i had a dt 80mx, black with red gaitors, jacked up , plates cut out of the front pipe with a fresco tail pipe - use to love it.
we use to go everyhwere on our bikes - them days everyone had trail bikes.
I was on a yts in 84 and use to get £32 a week inc my travelling money and on a friday night i used to fill the dt up with petrol and buy 20 jps and i thought i was king of the world

nipper, yes i was 6 when my car was built, before i was 17 i bought an MTX 125, but sold it on shortly after, because i bought a lush RD125LC, one of the last ones made.

trickster, mine was white and red, full fresco, hand protectors. but i wasnt allowed to jack it up. i did about 13,000 miles on that thing in a year, all at 37 mph.....mph, even when i was knocked off i was going 'flat out'. i too altered the gearing and it made it crap.

vinny, they were good days when you only had to worry where your next tank of 2* was coming from, and of course your fags. wish i was still there.......LOL

I use to love hammering my LC home on a warm summers night then sitting in the garage for a while just smelling the castrol R and listening to the allspeeds ping as they was cooling down
