undecided if I will attend at this moment in time, will have to see the arrangements nearer the time.

I was looking forward to doing some track time this year in a new project. I wouldnt do the new National Day, too much like hard work getting trailer etc for such a short period.

Personally i'm looking forward to it, OK, it's a shame that the track boys will only get half a day to try and break there cars! But if your really into track days, you can pretty well do a track day every weekend of the year.

Also out of the 10,000 odd people that normally attend national day, what percentage actually go on track??!! I think combining ND with the BRSCC can only be a good thing, I for one would rather watch 2 or 3, 30 minute proper races with the drivers going hell for leather than, a load of (mainly) smokey old cossies and increasingly Evo's, scoobys and numerous other non Ford's let alone RS's going round the track! (what's all that about at RS national day)??!

I also understand that the cost of holding the event at Rockingham, is far less than what Donington wanted to charge this year. Meaning that the club may actually make a profit at this one rather than losing money by holding an event at the same venue, that was becoming increasing stale and predictable........ IMO!

I will be there, as for the track peeps moaning its not the RSOC track day its the RSOC Nat Day.

Yes its great fun watching the cars go round the track but after a few minutes most people walk off back to the show or Auto jumble.

will probably give it a go this year - take the x up too - got a load of grief the last few years for not taking the car to donny from the dorset clan, culminating in last years 2 car show on a 12 car plot !!!!!! it always seemed too far for that amount of abuse - only so much the senses can take

but if i do go, do i put the car on the dorset stand or the Works Team stand ............ decisions ? decisions ?? decisions ???

ps. dont think theyll be happy when i say i aint doing devon in favour for Le Tour Lakes but hey ho !!!

so my little whisper about nat day was right and not aload of bollocks was it? (GJ).... ive been i member of rs group for a few years and in my view before this venue was decided to be shared, it should of been put forward to all the commitee of local groups to get there opinion as it has caused alot of bad feeling with most of the members ive spoke too!.....

The proposal of changing to Rockingham was put forward to all members at the AGM.

It got the thumbs up from most of the people there.
