  • ID'ing a MKII Escort

Should your MKII ever go missing

How would you recognise/ID it ?

Lets say it was not stamped on the top plate - no chassis tags and engine number had been ground off.

I DO NOT WANT YOU TO TELL ME WHAT "EXTRA" ID MARKS YOU HAVE ADDED !! (WE SHOULD ALL HAVE THESE !!!)

I need to know what, if any, ID marks all the cars have that make them unique and identifiable

    Anyone ?

Dont know what your thinking Dave but
the spot welds will all be slighty different
like on the wing rails etc i suppose.

date stamps on the rear light clusters, if original they would still be there, but most would of been changed by now,
