  • RS1800 & GP4 Parts STOLEN - SUBSTANTIAL REWARD AVAILABLE

If anyone is offered any RS1800 parts including carbs, cylinder head, block, RS1600 head, interior, ZF dog box, Monte Carlo calipers and you are unsure of their origin please PM me. There is a SUBSTANTIAL reward for these parts. They were stolen a couple of weeks ago in Lincolnshire. Aslo various other GP4 escort bits were taken. There are a few very specialist and very rare items that have been taken - this was a planned robbery !

    Stolen

Very sorry to hear about these parts being stolen. I will definately keep my eyes open.

Hopefully due to the rarity of these items they might be spotted. Hope you get them back m8.

Certainly one for the parts police - but for all the wrong reasons - hang the Bar Stewards !!

                    Stolen

Just a thought but it might be worth contacting the various dealers. Its possible they might be offered the parts. I know one or two of them are rogues but its worth a shot.

Also posing to buy similar items which have been stolen might be an angle.

This could be a wake up call for people to mark their parts. I have done this for years in such a way only I can identify them. This happened not so long ago when I bought a part I actually sold a few years back so it does work.

Im sure everybody would agree classic car/part theives rank pretty low in the world.

                    CheeRS,

                    Joe.

Try thinking of who knew where your parts were not that your friends
stole them but friend of a friend and all that.
Pay visits to people in your area you never know.

                        Just a thought.

It is someone who knows about the parts, as they left other things that would be easier to sell or harder to trace. It makes you start thinking about things and people !
