I cant remember who said it but the phrase that sticks in my mind is "You'll always regret something you havn't done rather than regret something you have done !!"

That puts a different angle on a lot of situations eh !!!

Sorry to be a pain in the you know what, but a just-married couple from here (Holland) did just the same: get a camper and drive all the way across NZ.
Untill they got some burglar-visitors one night whilst staying in a unofficial carpark. They experienced some other unpleasant (!) things as well.
Big articles in the newspapers over here and the NZ authorities are as well.

Theres plenty of nice places in the UK (mainly those with surf!) North devon North Cornwall south Wales . You can choose were to live...... But its difficult to find a job (or a well paid job).

Who wants to live in Aus, NZ etc. You'd miss the Premiership, Good Beer (OK maybe not). Gordon Brown (Definately not). Etc, Etc, Rally escorts etc....

OK a bad argument lets all emigrate

if your in a housing estate...why not move to the sticks....buy an old house with some land & have no neighbours ....i lived in housing estate for 25+ yrs then found a cottage 35 miles away in the sticks....no neighbours plus ive got 2/3 acre of land.....its good but 45 miles away from work & spend up 2 3hrs travelling a day & up to 600miles a week....or buy a plot of land & build your own gaf

I'll be living in Luanda with a population of 10 million plus !!! Its utter madness, no priority for anyone when you come to a junction, very little traffic lights and roundabouts are just mad !!! The best bit of the day is going to and from work where you sit in your jeep , you can buy ANYTHING from the comfort of the passenger seat of your car !!

last year we appointed an emigration agent, and started the process off to emigrate to OZ, after spending a bit of money, and scoring more than enough points, we halted the proceedings. this jaunt to nz is to to see if this is more to our likeing. have to see, but from what i hear, should be nice.

topaz, i think NZ is even easier to get in, better place so most say?
