when i met my misses her mam still had a local coner shop.... remember them!..... but it had the old penny tray still on the counter...... 20 or 30 different compartments filled with mojos, fruit salads, fhizzas, black jacks, shrimps, flumps, fried eggs, flying saucers, etc....... feel quite nostalgic now....
always remember as a kid that you could buy 2 mojos for 1p, they were the days when a bag of chips cost 25p and scraps were free not like now, went to chippy for first time in years and bag of chips was £1.05 and 10p extra for bloody scraps .... i said at least dick turpin had a mask on when he robbed ya.... was told to put up or shut up, needless to say i caved in and paid up......chips were crap in the end.....
