The carnival red one was definately scraped in N. Ireland the reg no was JJN 100N.
The car in Jersey was lead that i had and is yet to be confirmed, some months ago now
The press cars that were known are JJN 100N, JJN 112N, JJN 981N, MVX 26P, ONO 804P there were also quite a few dealer demonstrators
Cars regestered in wales: 9 out of the 92 cars that i know of, 6 of which are still known today.
JJN981N was the one I had in mind in my original post. If it's not too much trouble, what's the area identifiers for the 9 Welsh ones and which are the survivors. I don't want full reg numbers obviously.
For some reason I didn't expect there to be that many when you think of the potential market size at the time in England, Scotland and Ireland.
According to the RAC website TWO 2S is now on a silver one owner Mondeo diesel, tragic isn't it but at least it's still on a Ford!!
BTW, why can't I edit my first post?

Many years ago there was a TEJ in our town , think it was a S or T plate , anyway , apparently it was originally an 18 but was running around with a Pinto in , certainly looked the part minus the blue stripes . Didn't know my RS's as well then and never saw under the bonnet but the car was written off and a couple killed in it , must be knocking on 20 years ago now.sigpic
