Agreed, i have a two month old daughter and from previous experiences, she will not be going to any events or long trips out in the car with me - anywhere, until she's three. Far too stressful, and not good for your relationship either!
Keep it as stress-free as poss mate.

Originally posted by FrosticlesWent to the Dalby Stages for the R.A.C yesterday. Thought we'd make it a family affair....BIG mistake The "Boy" was grumpy on the way there but that was nothing compared to what was to follow......
As soon as we got out the car he started....... I have never known a 21 month year old to be able to scream so much. On we went into the stage. (Still Screaming), Was told to go to the Quarry section as that was best for the boy. (Still screaming) Tried to ring the rest of the lads but had no signal (Still screaming) Found a nice spot to view from (Still screaming) Now getting displeased looks from all concerned Moved to a "quieter" spot (Still screaming). First car came, Camera packed up (Still screaming) swithched to mobile camera, For some reason that started to play up (Still screaming) Wife took the "Boy" for a walk (Screaming into the forest) Peace at last Jimmy in the Stobart car sounded very ill!!!!!!. Wife and "Boy" came back (Still screaming) Tried to get to another part of the stage down the ROUGHEST track I've ever seen whils pushing a push chair (Screaming for England by now) Went through brackery, pot holes, tree trunks in the way, deep mud, impassable sections including a seriously steep muddy bank, Fell over on said muddy bank.
Finally got to the car (Still screaming) found out was blocked in, Loaded the "Boy" into his seat (Still screaming, Put back out again) Tried to manouver out of parking space and got stuck, Needed some help from passers by which took about 10 minutes!!!! (thanks whoever you were) Finally got out of Dalby (Boy fell asleep)
Quietest journey home I've ever known..........Sat Nav sent me the wrong way and got stuck in some country village in vile traffic. (Still asleep). Had to stop 3 times due to back hurting like never before (Still asleep). Arrived home, went to bed, still there now.
That was my experience for the 2006 R.A.C Rally.
