that was in Newcastle Emlyn last weekend, i didnt go got thos pics off a rally website,would love 2 go 1 year,its a big road rally in wales

yep, very famous popular road event, held nr Cardigan.

done the event in the mid eighties when it was a MN round, dont do anymore though, afraid of the dark

We must be from the same era Graham! I used to do the Welsh Motoring News events - nothing to touch them - nothing short of road racing across the Welsh mountains and quite a number of ex-works cars being used in those days.

Used to be course opening car on a few events (in the days of targa timing - now banned) and if we would clean the section to the next t/c we would get the marsall to screw the clocks (wind the clock back a bit!) as was often done on night rallies!
