  • RS 2000 Advice pleaseeeee?????

    Hi guys,
Small bit of a dilema here. Bought an rs 2000 a while ago and am just about ready to make some shapes on it. When i bought the car, the guy had started to put on an x-pack kit. He was putting a flat nose on it and already had cut one of the rear quarters to fit the section of kit. I was left with a rather ugly steel shelf!! The thing is, I'm looking for advice as to whether I should continue with the x-pack or restore originally. The shell is extremely straight, not one bit of rust. I also considered tarmac style arches. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated. Need to get movin fast as my mates girlfriend wants it as her wedding car!!! Yes she is mad.
    Cheers,
    Joe

He had changed the wings and had started to put up the flat nose. Got the cibies to go with her but didnt think it would take too much to put it back to normal. Only for the shell being as good as it is, i prob wouldnt have bought it. NO access to pics of the car until the weekend. The pas side rear quarter had been cut and the steel shelf welded on. Not the best bit of welding ive ever seen. There is no problem sorting out the front, but its this section that id be worried about.
