how did someone win it for £45 when you had bid £2995?
In any case, eBay lets you retract bids, and wrong decimal points is a quoted allowed reason. You have to be careful if you're logged in to a foreign eBay too as commas and decimal points change meaning. Wanted to bid £20.00 once, typed in £20,00 and ended up bidding £20000.
i've seen it loads of times when peeps are trying to find out the reserve of something, if u look in the bids of the item, you will see bid retracted from buyer and a reason i.e wrong amount entered.
poor old jonny was just being a daft bugger
