I've been pondering over a new telly for a while. Originally I was going to get a 43" plasma in which Pioneer are market leaders.

However, the new Sony Bravia LCD V-series are supposed to be the mutts too. And these come in 32" and 40" versions whereas the Pioneers are only 43" which is TOO big for me. I read someweher that you should be 4 times the screen size away from the tv for optimum viewing, not sure how true that is though.

have read that as well. The salesgimps though in the shop say that doesn't really matter any more with the HDTV';s. I'm now getting bogged down with this as everyone I speak to offers different advice....
