Speaking to a fellow RS admirer recently, who told me a guy he knew had a mk2 RS (garaged but part of the internal living space), with seats close by where he would sit and just look at the car. It's never driven (hardly any miles apparently).
Cant argue with that, as i think, the mk2 is escort and the RS as a very beautiful piece of design. Even better to drive as well!
In fact i prefer it to the usual exotica that we see on TV and in the motoring press, i cant stand the gaudiness of Porsche and Ferrari etc, genuinely.
But who was the driving force in the 'Brenda' and RS design, i would love to know his name, and whether Ford recognised what he and his team did.

but sometimes when i had my last one,i found myself just polishing her nearly every other night (i need to get out more!) and it made me feel relaxed (insert own gag here...)
