Orange 76 and Signal Amber are 2 different colours, mine is a cross between amber and orange

Stunning car Martin,had a 4 door sport in that colour once,and yes it was a FOUR DOOR ,quite a rarity.But i also had a 4 door sport in Velvet purple which was even rarer! Very early example with white decals! Jeezz,be worth a few bob now as that colour was usually only found on the mk1.

These are the standard colours. Any ford colour of the period could be specified. There is a Marine Blue Big Wing RS2 that appears now & again.

Electric / Monza Blue
Copper Bronze (only ever seen one)
Tawny Brown
Sunset Red
Ermine White
Le Mans Green

Again they appear in non standard colours. There is a Purple Velvet one that looks like a 1300E.

No Doubt someone will point out any I've missed but these are just from memory.

thats a good point bringing the mk1 into the equation because of this question

i wonder why ford didnt use metalic colours for the mk2 rs's as they did for the mk1's - surely paint technology had improved by the mid to late 70's, so i wonder why they never went down that route ?????

always thought that a nice 'light' silver would have looked the dogs on a mk2 rs2000

Sierra Beige is the colour some are confusing with Sahara beige and it is a mk2 colour.
