  • Look What Turned Up At My House Today!

The dynotiles that i ordered turned up today, and i cant wait to get cracking on this little project! These tiles are for my garage floor, and you'd think i'd had a new kid, what with the painting of the walls and the new floor going down!

I'm going for the ST George look and i think the Vinnster will approve if no one else!

I'll keep you lot posted on how i get on,but i need to pull me finger out,as i pick up the new girl on Sunday!

If you get a picture done and send it to them within October, they will send you £100 money back so they can use it on their website! Nice

do you lay them straight down on a concrete base, or is there a covering you have to use before hand. I see that there rolls of something in the pics. Looking good and cant wait to see it finished

what weight do they take ?

take it axle stands and jacks have to be put on board or something before 'jacking up' ?

            Right...........
To answer some of the questions. They will take a huge amount of weight surprisingly. If you go to the website, there is a picture of a small plane on them in an aircraft hanger!! So i guess they'll take the weight of the RS!
The rolls of stuff you spied are rolls of roofing felt that i am currently selling on e bay.The company says these can be layed straight onto concrete, but i am going to lay them on old carpet, just for a bit more 'springy-ness' (is that a word?!)
Cost wise,my garage is bigger than a single, but not quite a double ( ), and with a 10% online discount (i needed 216 tiles) it came in with the V.A.T and the delivery charge at just over £600,but like i say,if you e mail them a picture of the completed work (mine's gonna be a st georges flag design!) they will send you a cheque for £100!!

I'm gonna try and get started on this tonight,so i'll keep you posted.

Inner wings are more than that these days Neil

My floor takes a bashing, and I like to be able to mop it, so shiney grey floor paint is ideal.

I do have some H/D rubber tiles around the bench/toolbox and tyre changer, so it's a bit more comfortable to stand around on when I'm working
                  Cheers Rob.

Just half way and the cross of ST George starts to come into view

Should have this finished by tomorrow night! Well pleased with it
