  • Can Anyone Answer this cracker

I was speaking to a fella seeling a 76 RS2 and someone had been looking at the car, but has withdrawn , he is the 2nd one too

after :gimp: told them an RS2 was supposed to have a Square/retangular water outlet from the Heater Phlenum ? I have never seen oone like this can anyone else remember seeing one ? I even phone Darren Escort tec and hes not had or seen one, (he mentioned a SA car that had one)

having checked out a few other things with the seller all the bits are there apart from the Spare wheel strap holder due to the battery being put in the boot and the sound deadening pad removed from the boot floor prior to painting

    anyone know any better ?
    cheers
    Brian

Rectangular at the outlet?? Has to be round to fit in the hole. Most cars that I know of have taken these off. Mine included.

            right lets clarify

the actual pressed water outlet hole at the bottom of the heater plenum not the dopey plastic outlet pipe for the X Flows

as can be seen on Johns car for eg

but I have looked at MrWatts and his does look rectangular from this tiny piccy

Think he's on about the water drain hole in the Plenum. Mine just has a rubber piece rivited there to deflect the water.
