What would you lads say a 132 Bhp i.e. X-Pack motored RSII but no bodykit including 7J Ronals is worth? 6K??? 04/77 first registered so roll top interior.
Cheers
Original, well sort of, it's got a half cage in it so would be removeable, a strut brace (tasteful one) and a 5 speeder to my knowledge apparently 50K Kms on the clock going for 9.5K Euro
Well here in germany there's the STD version and the 132 Hp / 97 KW Escort Spezial (Series X) to be the 132 version you've got to have the Gp1 head fitted not just the IDFs. Type Approval is very important here and if the police catch you driving a motor that has got non-STD parts (that aren't listed in the Reg Doc) then it will cost and points. Some manufacturers only get a couple tyres homologated for their cars and anything else is illegal. So to answer your question I'm pretty sure.
but for a start it's not got the Group 1 Airbox and those open filters aren't legal in Germany! So at least some things have departed from an original RS2000 Spezial without respect to legality!

They are legal you've just got to get an "engineers report" and get 'em put on the reg doc.
He he, Yeah I know! The same way that people get wheels in their logbook which extend 15mm beyond the arches. The engineer's report has to state that the open air filter has no effect on noise, fuel consumption, power, torque, emissions etc. So why do peole fit them? It's just a big scam which requires a friendly TÜV in most cases!
Did you know, by the way, that Ford withdrew the homologation of the Group 1 kit for road use in about 1985? Wonder how many TÜV's know that when you present the old engineer's report it's not valid anymore!
