  • RS ID sold on ebay

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RS-2000-MK2-ES...QQcmdZViewItem

This has been reported to DVLA and ebay but someone has already won the ID (£155). Hope DVLA will freeze the cars ID so it can't be put on the road.

The reg of the ID is ARB 212T, so if you so it on the road its a ringer.

i would think a lot of people have logbooks to cars they have stripped for parts .acouple of years back i heard of an id for a mk1 l/c sold to a bloke in ireland for a very big lump of cash,it will surface sometime, with a big price tag, thanks to the logbook/id of a long since deceased car.it's been going on for years, and ford themselves were at it too

Was offered tags for a blue stripe years ago. Thought it was wrong even then. Just think what the Mex could have been now

a few mk11s stolen recently hopefully members on this site and other escort sites would spill the beans on some one trying to get rid of a full blown ringer especially if they knew who the car belonged to previously

It was even easier in the 70's, you could change the car model (but with the same manufacturer and type of car though) on the V5 and post in back to the then DVLC. I expect there are many RS logged cars that started life as something more modest.
