my name is Graeme Holmes and i live near Bournemouth, southern England.
i dont know if you will get to read this but i hope you do. (its the only way i can find of contacting you)
just wanted to say thank you so much for coming over to England at the weekend for the Rallycar day at Castle Combe -
i never got chance to get an autograph, alas i think i was one of the seven that did not out of the 20,000 or so you did sign !!!!!!!!! :-)
anyway, i got to shake your hand and say thanks - thanks firstly for you being there and more importantly second, thanks for giving us all the memories in the first place .......... oh and thirdly, the opportunity to show you how much we hold you in our estimation over here in England.
you are still an icon, a fact not lost on you last saturday by everyones reaction wherever you went - hope you and your wife enjoyed it (if not a little tiring) and i hope your hand has now recovered from "writers cramp" !!!
well, thats all really, although maybe you could come over again and i can go for that elusive autograph !!! (only joking) -
dear old Russell Brookes is there every year and everyone has his !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps. i was displaying my mk2 RS2000 series x on a club stand away from the paddock - there was so much that you didnt see, surely thats an excuse to come again .......... isnt it ? ......... i may even let you drive it :-)
