I've always used Pirelli P6/P6000 on my MKII RS2000 cars for the last 17 years, they are a great all round tyre.

              Hi Arron,
              I have p600's on my sevens 185 55 13.
Wanted something a little softer and with a better side wall.
Been advised yoko 48's but dont wont the underside sprayed with small stones, and the guy at yokohama said there not clever in the wet.
He advised yoko 539's.And for seven inch wheels should be 205's.
There is a good tyre think it was a dunlop sp 2000.
Dont know just need good grip and not to a low profile.

Yes it was me who did the tyre test feature for Retro Ford mag

I have the feature scanned but its on my work pc

the 195/45/13 Continentals were deffinately the best of the three tested followed by the 175/50/13 Dunlops.

The 195/45's also seemed to sit better on the 7" rims not stretched like the 175's

                          Cheers
