  • Why wasnt your MKII RS at RSOC National Day 30 year Display ?

I couldnt be arsed to put SKC in either a dust bowl or a mud bath

(Yes I know I was playing on track with a MKI owner but SKC could easily have been at Donington)

Also I was not asked/invited by the registrar John Hughes (e-mails are free !)

I went to Ford Fair as I was offered a place by Jenny (via Frosticles)

AND it was on tarmac !!

    Easy choice really !

            Rab

This was cleared up ages ago !

The tenner was the total to be paid and was the entry fee to the show

            NOT an extra tenner

never really got my ass into gear this year with long distance shows - told the regional group i was going at the start of the season, but then found out it was only a one day event, hoping it was a two day show as in previous years -
decided against it on the grounds of distance with the car as it is (not really a long distance cruiser these days) - and donington itself really - just dont seem welcoming enough for me (something about the place)
((and with the cars that went missing AGAIN this year, some other poor peeps are probably feeling the same !!!!))
would liked to have gone for the 30 year display tho, but the cons out-weighed the pros this year - maybe another time

A- grum ... must try harder next year

will definately do a G Johns tour of wales if thats a go-er next year -

or would love to get in on helping out with organising a mk2 national day after this years "enforced" break

                              grum
