Who would be interested in a Rallye Sport Escorts / Retro Ford shoot out at Bruntingthorpe ?

They have a pre-set track layout and as per Top Gear they are building up a Leader Board.

How about all types of RS MKII's come along and have a bit of fun.

OK we may get Dingy's 500bhp up against Frosties 86 BHP monster but we can have everything inbetween as well !!

I can contact Ben Morley to test the water if you like.

It will be mid-week though as a "private" party on the weekends is expensive to sort.

May even coincide this with a rolling road shoot-out session at Hi-Tech Motorsports as well

good idea though, they do club shootouts and stuff, shouldnt see why not, they are gonna be short of stuff to print over the winter anyway as nothings really going on. shouldnt see why he could refuse

i get a bit annoyed with retro ford mag, as it seems its just a collection of ben morleys mates cars, but at least they are all passionate about what they write about on that mag

With regards that email you sent me, i don't recall recieving it, but that might be down to the fact that we have moved around the office about 18 times in the last 6 months and in that time computers have been changed and emails get lost... Yer it has mistakes but what mag or newspaper hasn't, who on here doesn't want to better themselves in moving up the job ladder I sure have.
Like the old saying goes, "first step on the ladder".

To date we have only been sent cars from the Essex/London area... Although the majority of the concours/Race car features are from ooop North. If we get cars sent in to us from further a field, i for one would be more than pleased to go and shoot them.
It doesn't matter where the car is to me, i just love to get out and see them and meet different people! Sounds a bit gay, but it's the honest truth.
