Alan, you are a star mate, you go to all these shows, taking pictures, logging results etc for no reward.

The RSOC should look at what you have done here the last couple of years and realise what they are missing and try and headhunt you for their own benefit.

Maybe you dont want to be a part of it, i dont know. Your website is not only easy to use it also has amazing content that money cannot buy. I salute you.

yes i know all that, but what he is doing there is above and beyond the call of duty and in my opinion he should be rewarded, thats if he wants to be.

He is doing a sterling job and its crazy why his efforts have not been taken under the wing of the RSOC and 'officialised'

Maybe the club does not want to grow?

i know what alan does at every show as ive done it for him at few shows this year that he couldnt get 2

its not just the taking pictures, its the staying till the end, logging the results, charting the results, tracking the results etc etc.

by the sounds of it he just does it 'from whats read out'

why isnt he handed the results to update his website? surely this is the the RSOC's interests.

some time he uses what is read out but at a few show this year,he has judge the concourse(i helped at a few) add the results up and sometimes he even had to double check other people workin outs to make sure they were right, all this and he has built and cleaned his own and cleaned his brother cars

why wast I handed ANY (excluding RS1800 Stuff ) info in the 7 years of service doing the website & BBS, well that era is now over !

I was for Aberdeen, as I couldn't make it there myself, Normally though I just record them on my camcorder, then play it back when I get home.

The hardest bit is at the start of the year when there are new cars out and they only read out the persons name and not the Reg No.
