Tilt and Slide Sunroof

I have been asked by someone to value their T reg MKII RS2000 (not sure why I have been asked but no probs)

It is at the ongoing restoration stage.

My question is :-

Does anyone know how many, if any, factory fit Manual Tilt and Slide glass sunroofs were ever fitted by Ford.

I will know a lot more when I have seen car in a couple of weeks time.

I owned a black 1980 Custom that was fitted with one of these, only ever seen 1 other.

glass sunroof? I thought Ford heralded the introduction of glass sliding sunroofs in the MkIII as another "first" when it was introduced.

Sunroof

I spoke to a couple at National Day a few years back. They had a black Custom with factory slide and tilt. It didnt work at the time I remember. Did one of the professional cars have one also?

Pieman had one in his mk2,didnt work thou cable had snapped.

ders you car was my ex brother in laws and it was a peugeot one as a guy called david barnes had it fitted,i went to see a signal red car in glasgow years ago and it had a steel tilt and slide fitted what looked like the granada ones ,he swore it was factory fitted and it looked as if it was but i have my doubts
